Hello, I'm Dion, 17. A third culture child from a Chinese mother and an American father, I currently live in the Netherlands and Italy. I have always been passionate about how art can bridge cultures and shape our perceptions and attitudes toward people of different backgrounds. I enjoy playing jazz piano and guitar, and love to make short films.
The three interviews above are part of a documentary series "The Light Within". The documentary is an exploration of the positive effects of cultivating passion in relation to teenage mental health. This project started as an extracurricular activity and is aimed to grow into a co-creation library of youth filmmakers documenting what inspire them in their surroundings.
